Is This Dangerous?
My GSR sedan's radiator has many hairline cracks in the bronze/brown top plastic portion all around the perimeter.
It seeps/weeps coolant.
The radiator appears to be made of at least two pieces - a top plastic portion and an aluminum cooling body.
Will this self destruct catastrophically?
How much is a replacement radiator and is it easy to do?
Thanks

change the radiator. When I had an Accord way back then, the radiator failed, the car overheated, damaged the engine, an absolute pain in the *** for something a couple of hundred of dollars could have fixed.
Short answer, yes. It will fail. Radiators are cheap (less than $200) and very easy to install. It is messy however, so wear old clothes. Took me about an hour start to finish to do mine.
replace it
i had a 94 prelude, had one small crack, i watch coolant ALL THE TIME, watched the temp ALL THE TIME, boom, one day i cracked the head...no warning, fix it

i had same kind of problem and i didnt find out about it until my engine compartment was dirty as hell from the water spraying around and when i was sitting in a drive threw and just happen to notice my **** was over heating luckily it was just bearly over the middle mark and i was able to shut it down.
Oh ya... i went with aftermarket radiator also, Fluidyne... great fit easy to install and works great.
