i recently went to englishtown and ran a 14.2 @ 95.6 mph with a 2.2 60ft. my mods are i/h/e. do u think my trap speed is too low?? am i losing too much at top. if i am how do i fix the problem. i know people who run a much better trap than me

 

Is your bummper black? My ITR is running rich too and all i have is a AEM CAI....I did have full exhaust and header at one point....I'm not sure why its running this way......

 

Get a wideband or a tuning done. Then you will know for sure.

 

the stock ecu makes the car run rich. With mods that help it breath, it should be running leaner than stock. are you using anything life a VAFC even though I think those are used mainly to take away fuel rather than add it. get on the dyno for a run or two with a sniffer and see what it comes up with. 14.2 is very respectable and that trap speed is decent too. I tend to lose trap speed when my ET and 60ft goes up.

 

Does your exhaust "pop" when you let off the gas??? Someone told me that is caused by unburnt gasses getting to the cat...it pops a bit on my untuned R with DC JDM header, high flow cat, and thermal R&D catback....yes I know, restrictive exhaust...soon to be tuned hopefully before my high flow cat burns out...
