Thanks Jim!

Hopefully time will tell. We gotta get all the classes in all the series to fill up before we should think about opening more playing fields?? and drama-tech crying about how there is only few cars in the fields.

All questions, comments, ideas, facts, opinions are im sure are accounted for by Jim . He does read all this and is in the process of helping sport compact move forward. I think we just need a lil more time.?

Pro FWD-can be full tube frame cars with full fiberglass shells and all the full out race car bells and whistles. Lexan, wheelie bars and as stated, all the bells and whistles. Most cars in this class will be turboed 4 cylinders. 7.9 is the record E.T. for the class, median cars run mid to low 8's!

Street FWD or actually Sport FWD- These are fully streetable, registered cars. DOT glass, full carpet, front interior, lights, horn, complete exhaust system and things like that. Basically a heavily performance modified street car. Most cars in this class will be turboed but you can run a Natrually Aspirated car there. 9.8 is the record E.T. for the class. Median cars run high 10's!

Hope that helps! For more info refer to the NHRA Sport Compact rulebook.

That's awesome!! Thanks NHRA and thanks Jim!! I used to check the results almost hourly on race weekends anyways, now I can see what my class is doing too. Congrats to Jason and Brian on an amazing weekend. Frank Smith's car had some mph too!

Hey Jim, I spoke with you before and you mentioned that you were looking into this... please give me a class to run my little white car with other ALL MOTOR STREET competitors. I guaruntee you will have a full field of cars in the class. And a VERY strong following of spectators that only focus on the STREET CLASSES... PLEASE do what you can and make it happen for us!! We will all appreciate it very much!!!

I agree that there should be a street/sport fwd all motor class because there's a big following. Look at the pro all-motor field last year at the finals 20+ cars and there would be a full field at all the races IMO!!! but for posting the SFWD & SRWD classes!!
