hey i was wondering what the difference were between the y8 and skunk 2 intake manifold for a d16a6...i mean i can get the y8 manifold for 40$ rather playing 200? for skunk2....plus im planing on goin s/c late summer but i need a manifold now

not to post *****, but i just bought and extra a6 manif. and am working on polishing it out for the time being.....

 

Well, if you're going to switch to supercharged within a couple of months, isn't paying for Skunk2 just wasting money?
If the money is burning a hole in your pocket, buy something else that you can keep on using...like a lightweight valvetrain or an adj cam gear or something

 

damn, after reading some more articles im depating on weather to s/c or turbo...now i really dont know what manifold to get

 

isnt skunk2 a all motor intake manifold? i say skunk2 beats out y8 turbo or na...

 

Big plenum short runners are for turbo, long runners for all motor.
