aight well i've got a 91 crx si.. b16a1 was the swap i want to do, but the thing is theres so many crx that have that swap, id like to do something a lil dif. but im not sure what way to go w/ it if anyone has any idea's it'd be greatly appreciated..

 

save your money and wait till the K-series swap is developed

 

Big block V8 baybee!! Nah, just kiddin'. If you want to something different I like the K20 idea, but it also matters what your eventual plans are. If you'd like to go turbo the B18A is a nice choice. Although aftermarket isn't as large as the B16. If you wanna go NA and have some cash to blow, go all the with C5. Its a much more costly swap, but very worth it.

for the cost of a b series swap (lowly B16A), around $2000, you can take your d16a6, get it sleeved, forged pistons and rods, all new bearings and whatnot.

spend another $1000-$1500 and build a turbo kit, boost 20psi and blow the ******* doors off NA b series swaps.

$3500 will get you a 170hp GSR engine
$3500 will get you a 300hp SOHC :D

 

build a b18a.

i thought a typeR intake wont fit on a gsr

oh def. believe me i know my friends are swap ******, but there is a dif. in having it done before and everyone doin the same thing.. but either way i appreciate all the input...
