RIGHT NOW RUNNING 10-12 PSI SWEET AS HELL MADD WHEELSPIN AT 50% THROTTLE MAKES ME SMILE
SO IM WONDERING IF MY SETUP IS GOING TO EQUAL ENGINE POOF
ISNT IT GOOD TO HAVE FMU TO HAVE EXTRA FUEL WITH ACTUAL BOOST NOT JUST BY RPM
ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW HONDAPIMPS

 

hmm . . . I have heard of shops using a vafc + bigger injectors + a fmu but you don't really need it. I would ditch the FMU and sell the fuel pump, and just get a walboro 255lph instead of that 190. You'll be good @ 10-12 psi it's jsut all in the tuning and how you treat your car :-p

 

WHY DITCH THE FUEL PUMP? IM RUNNING OUT OF MONEY ANY THOUGHT A FREE 5 LITER FUEL PUMP WOULD BE THE EASY ANSWER? I ALSO HAVE A MISSING LINK(NOT THAT THAT MATTERS OR ANYTHING)

 

take off the caps lock. Sell the vafc and fmu and buy hondata. On an untuned hack with 12 pounds of boost you will be on a bicycle in no time

 

oh yeah i beat the living hell outta my car. i mean it just shoots to revlimiter and i am still in the " i cant believe its turbo " phase.

 

its really rich. my buddy set the vafc so its runing rich and with the fmu thats a lot of fuel

I was driving a 96 jetta automatic until I got my LS integra. Now the boosted gsr is gonna be back out within a week! I can't wait. BTW, get it tuned, and it should last for alittle while. I mean, beating the **** outta ur car won't help the engine last long.

 

well at least hold up for all this season till winter cause then im building up like a motha. im mean like talking **** to people is one thing ... but but backing it with madd turbo power is a way of life

The hack is acceptable, but just like everything else it needs to be tuned, if you are in the MD area i could tune it for you.

 

yeah sometimes for money but more for respect.
people have told me that turboing my honda myself with custom fabricated parts wasnt possible. now i prove em wrong
and whats better is that turbo equals bye bye pesky stock and light modded 5 liters

I give it a month... maybe two.

you need an EMS with a well tune for 10-12psi. even then I wouldn't push it past 10psi on stock internals... just wont last.

 

some people say they run 12 to 14 psi with a good tune and hvw done so for 2 yrs and 20,000 why will it blow if tuned professionally? ring lands?

 

Buy a gun, shoot yourself.

I think what youre asking is if your setup is safe.

Can your setup be safe? Sure. Can it be a catastrophe? Yes.

It all depends and everything is different for each setup. Traditionally, Id say depending on your tune your pushing the limits of reliability and luck there my friend.

I would try some searches and rephrase your question to be more specific if you want.
