How'd the race go?

 

It actually was decent. The practice sessions were hell because they overbooked the 911 group so there were more than 100 cars in our run group with the overflow of the faster cars. Once we got to the actually race and were matched up against similar cars against drivers we were used to racing with it was awesome. I think I picked up 5 positions between qualifying and the race's end. We'll see once the results come out. No words can describe what it's like driving 120mph around a turn at 33%... or whatever the baking is.

 

I almost forgot... I won a freaking hot tub. It's on the car hauler back to VA as we speak.

One of our sponsors donated one for a drawing of prizes amongst the drivers. The last drawing was for the hot tub and the kid pulled my name. I'm sure people think it's rigged.

Yeah, they exist, but not many of them:

Yeah that Porsche is the 911-GT1 they are so cool I love their back bumpers

 

996 GT1 &lt;drool&gt; and usually I don't care much for Porsches. I saw one at ALMS at RA a few years back. Shot the bull with Brian Redman for about 30 minutes last february over a adult beverage. Nice guy, very entertaining. I remember watching Redman, Unser, and Andretti (Mario) going at it in F5000s at Road Atlanta. Awesome.
