Default 99 civic si tail-lamps

Hey, I had a question regarding fitment of 99 civic si tail-lamps. My friend drives a 99 civic SI and he got new tail-lamps (gay altezzas) ; and he is willing to sell me his stock civic si tail-lamps. I was wondering if the 99 civic si tail-lamps would fit my 1997 civic 2 door? Thanks in advance for the help

put the shiznit in, I wish I had red/clear's. They look soo much better than 96-98, the tails are the same 96-00 they just redesigned them for 99-00, and the front lights, hood, grille and fenders are different too.

Already been said but yes, they will fit just fine. A friend has some on his 97 EX coupe.

and just a FIY...there is no such thing as designated 'Si' taillights. They are generic for 99-00 Honda Civic coupes...DX and EX have them as well

EDIT: And if you were a true friend, you would go to his house at night and smash those ugly altezza's with a hammer

I agree with this approach but do it behind him so he don't get mad at you.
