Default Anyway to run 225/50-15s all around?

Interested in this, but with SSR competitions in 15 x 7.5 rims. Are spacers needed or fender rolling? I remember the 98 DC sports type Rs ran this combo.

Thanks.

i ran this set up for racing for a long time, (still do). You will need 1/4 inch spacers, H&R sells a set w/ the longer studs, i know the car still rubs in the front inner fender under full lock, but just a little. I havent had any problems with having to roll the fenders, but i never drove them like that on the street for extended periods of time.

BTW i was running the kuhmo victoracer on the stock 15x6 wheel.

Speedpak, that's interesting. Do you need to change the studs? They are pretty damn hard to change. Have to take out the drive shafts as well. Also, which tires do you use, Khumho, RA1, A032?

Do you put spacers on both the front and the back?

I also ran 225/50-15s all around on the stock 15x6 wheels. All it needs are 1/4 inch spacers for the back to prevent the insides of the rear tires from rubbing the rear control arm. I ran this with v700s and previously with BFG g-force R1s. Since hoosiers are wider than normal, 225s will not fit all around and people using Hoosiers run on 225s front/205s rear in the stock class.

I am sure with certain modifications you can fit 225s all around on 7-inch wide wheels, which makes a much better fit for these tires.

225's will put more tire to the ground, but will also decrease speed. It will take more to turn them.....
