Hey, I have a problem with my tranny. I just changed the clutch and found out that my input shaft bearing is also going, and my tranny grinds into 3rd gear when you shift and downshift into it. By replacing the input shaft bearing will this go away or is this another problem all together (like my syncros)? Sometimes I have to force it into first and second aswell (shift plate?)

i would say it is new tranny time. For the simple fact that after you get all the problems fixed you will be out alot of money. But if you do it yourself you will just be out of a car for awhile. (if you dont know what you are doing.)
