Default is there potential in the D16Z6 engine????

I currently have a D16Z6, but i dont know if i should work on the motor or should i swap it out.

Does any one know how much money and hp a all motor D16Z6
is be? How about boosting on this motor, how good is that?

theres a lot of potential for the z6. building an n/a project out of a d-series (although possible) would take up quite a bit of money for good results. most people that modify the d series boost it. you can throw on a turbo on a stock z6 and run about 7 psi safely although it is reccomended you build up your motor first. for the price of a swap you could get some pretty good numbers.
