To all of you guys who've done this setup, how's your timing like? Did you guys advance or retard. Do I REALLY need an adjustable camgear? My car sounds a little funny when idling. I can hear a little "put put" from time to time when it's just sitting there.

 

my stock d15 does that put put also. my timing is retarted all the way.. i think it should be more too

Did you guys have to change the valvesprings out when using the si cam?

Im in the middle of the mpfi conv. on my dpfi, are there any noticable power gains with or without the cam?
