Hi, i'm new to Honda-Tech...and yes i'm newb.
Just in curiosity, i'm asking.
I own Ek9 and it's white color car.
Just got this car, and been working on it, and now i'm trying to make my car clean, and one of the tips that my freidnds gave me was to paint the side molding of my car. The side molding is black and my car is white...so yea..it doesn't really match. I hear that in order to paint the side molding, it's better to take it off and paint and put it back on, than just painting on it while it's pasted on the car..So is there anyway u guys can reply to this thread with how to take off the side molding and put it back on? thx.
(searched through Google, and yahoo, but never found how to do with EK9, just few mazdas.)

 

they pop off there are clips you might need to replace and there is probably doublesided sticky tape on them too

you might want to price those side moldings from honda, they're pre-painted and might be around the same price as getting them painted...

 

they are not double sided taped on, they are just held on by plastic clips

 

i didn't say search, and yes if it has had bodywork before it could have double-sided tape, thats why i said it MIGHT have some on there...thanks for your concern though
