Tire Shake
Wonder if someone can explain just what's going on when you get tire shake.
I think I had it for the first time last night, does it feel kinda like the car is gonna
shake into little peice's???
I left the line like normal, the nitrous hit about half way though 1st, then the
tires shook, shift to 2nd gear and all was fine after that. From the outside I was
told that you could see the front tires shakeing and the rear tires unloading.
BTW this was with a brand new set of M&H slicks (Thanks John!!!), first time out
on them and first time using this kinda odd size. 24.5x9.5x13 on a 7 1/2" wheel.
Just what adjustments can you make to minamize this???
Thanks guys!!

and what was your tire pressure.......
and what was your tire pressure.......
Yep, the tires are beaded right, these were a REAL PITA to bead BTW.
FOr suspention it has a set of adj. Konis up front with 400 pound springs, no sway
bar. The rear is 500 pound and a set of Tokico road race shocks, real stiff on
compression. Bushings are urathane in the front, stock in the rear.
The front struts are layed waaaay in on camber plates so the strut will clear the
tires.
Tires pressure's, first pass 6 psi, the run with the shake was 10 psi. Anything less
then 10 lead to real scary handleing.

Hi Steve; It was the wind-up of the sidewall you heard and you are going to have alittle shake.
