Default New Final drive ratio...which one and where to get it?

Really thinking of getting a lower FDR. Gas mileage is not a big concern, I want the one that will give me the most acceleration. Where can I purchase them? Are there any issues with the JDM final drive or others? Thanks in advance.

No issues, amazing acceleration when combined with Spoon or Toda flywheel,
JDM FD is 4.785, Spoon has a 4.643 and 4.857 FD, and Cusco has 5.0 Final drive

take your pick

There's a JDM FD over in the classifieds.

Don't forget the ATS 4.929
I hear ATS is fresh.

Maybe moreso if you had a gearset as well.

I'll be installing a ATS 4.929 in a ITR tranny very soon.
Yes, I am going to use the ITR 5th gear. No ***** whining about gas mileage here.

This will be going in my road race 92 CX. B20.... hmm...

Hopefully it will compliment the 150+ ft/lbs. of wheel torque nicely...(soon)

The Cusco FD is built very weak and I have seen they break. ATS is more duarable in quality.

i got the Cusco 5.0 in my car. It revs really fast. If you do a lot of highway driving, I won't recommend it unless you use the GSR 4th and 5th. My top speed now is about 210 km/hr only, but it's ok to me since Vancouver doesn't have that many freeways.

Initial_E
Are you sure you could reach 210 km/h with a 5.0 FD
I doubt that

Actually it's just an estimate. It reaches 105km at 45000 rpm. I have a Mine's ecu with 9200rpm rev limit. So, if I reach 9K at 5th gear, it will be approximately 210. That's how I got it.

i agree with AJ Pwr. The cusco one is so easy to break. I broke one 3 months ago, and i'm now using ATS.
