It's been broken for a while now and it's really bugging me, the owner before me broke the hood lever(the peice inside the car that you pull for the hood to pop open) anyone know if this peice is easily replaceable? and is it easy to do? any help would be appreciated
BTW it's a ek hatch

 

dealer sells it for about $20. easy to replace.

take off fender, bumper, and driver side kick panel. unclip the broken cable lever and pull it out. put new one in. i broke mine twice.

 

those damn ek levers.......
you can't try to hinge it, you have to pull straight out
my girl's is broken too, been meanin to get one of those

 

i just use pliers to grip the cable and pull it, since the plastic piece on mine broke off as well. easy enough

 

I asked about this before, I just tied a string to it for now. Then maybe screw a nice looking **** on it later.
