I was looking at Kat's site for the install info. It says that I need two parts basically, the R throttle cable and the R throttle cable bracket.

I can understand the bracket, but is there any way to ghetto rig my stock dx throttle cable to work?
The reason I ask, when we put my b18c1 in, we just ghetto rigged the cable to work with the GSR throttle body.

Anyone know???

 

The GSR cable and bracket will work. It's a little close to the hood, but mine fits just fine. Don't forget that you'll also need a CAI for an ITR most likely since the TB sits up so much higher than the GSR TB.
Also, the GSR cable comes in (to the TB) from the passenger's side while the ITR cable comes in from the driver's side, which means you have to either reverse the spring on the TB or use one from some older civic (forgot which one... maybe the all work!).
