Default b18b opinions

i just recently did a ls swap in my 92 hatch. i have i/e/clutch/flywheel/testpipe/skunkIM. i was originally thinkin about boosting it but i have been reading about going all motor. I was thinkin to do the head first, get it PnP,valvetrain, 3angle valve job new seal and everything, and cams... what gains can i see from just this? then after that i would throw in some ctr pistons and rebuild the block. how reliable will this setup and what numbers can i see with it. also any opinions/pros /cons of this set up will be helpful. thanks alot. aslo i was thinkin about doin the head first b/c if i then decide to go turbo a ported head will be better for that too?
