Need more info: Are you keeping the accord if you buy the hatch? If so then get the hatch it is nice to have a toy car and a daily driver. It is really up to you and what you want to do. I personally like accords better and i would go with the accord but everyone is different.

well I think it's a little funny posting in the accord forum with this question, because we are probably have a bias already and tell you to go with the accord. Well you are in luck sir, because I will not tell you that. I personally would go with the hatch, because it's already had the major stuff done to it and you could just go from there. Also if your situation is how 01accordV6 stated then that should be even more of a reason to go with the hatch. Goodluck on whatever you decide to do.

well, i like the idea of the hatch, but i'm not fan of the B16. a 90 accord w/an H22 just doesn't do it for me cause they don't look as nice as 94-97 gens. i say spend a little more and get an B18C hatch or even better a H22 hatch or get a 94-97 H22 swapped accord.

why a 97? the 94-95s are the best looking and OBDI is more mod friendly.

That hurts. The front end is nicer on the 96-97

You're right about the OBD1 though. But that doesn't mean he can't convert it. That's what I'm going to be doing. More money, but it's worth it.

an H22 hatch will run low 14s to high 13s with just I/H/E. it depends how good of a driver you are. the H22 just has so much more torque and hp stock that you don't have to build it. your going to make more hp with less on a n/a build on the H22. the only downfall is your not going to rev as high as a b series and the parts are limted. skunk2 and crower make cams for the H22.

also, relative to nothing, the H is substantially heavier than a B, so custom spring rates are a must if you plan it as a daily (the hatch, the accord would be fine)
