Default More Norad Pics

More pics...

We got the stub axles in from Mark Williams...killer pieces! MW has provided support above and beyond what we have asked of them. Incredible products and even better customer support...I can't say enough about the time and effort they have saved us. I have delt with Brett mostly...excellent help! The guy is very, very talented at what he does for MW...deal with him if you can.

The diffuser was designed and built by an old teammate and friend of mine from when I was on a Formula SAE Engineering team in college...his name is Dejan Matic and he works for Sawyer Composite were he did the lay-up and heating of the diffuser...major thanks to both of them for the outstanding piece! Dejan continues to impress me with his knowledge of aerodynamics and craftsmanship with composites. Great Job!

Hope you guys like...enjoy!

fisch,
you're not kidding when you say stub axles! i like how you guys spent extra for the superlights, even though they're so short they probably weigh next to nothing. are the axles cheaper than standard ones, considering you get so much less axle?

The more pics I see the more I know this car is going to be bringing the pain to pro-fwd. When is the car going to be ready to race?

We're working as fast as we can... we've had three other racecars we've been working on as well...Mostly we're waiting on parts. This Friday we should get the hood, from there we can build the front supports on the chassis for accessories, mount the turbo, build headers, ect... With the hood and tires mounted we can measure turning clearance and cut the axle tubes to the right length, from there order the axles that connect the spool to the outer race of the cv's. The list goes on but you get the point...

Tony and I believe that at the very latest...2 months ...we'll see

Sorry. guys... takes time.... the layout is very complicated and takes a lot of time to sort everything out...we put so much thought into everything to ensure maximum performance with the least amount of comprimises...if we were building a regular race car we could have built two fo them by now...but we aren't...we want what nobody elese has and it's costing us time to get it.

Dude, you make it seem like building a race car is nothing but turning a few bolts and snapping a few parts together? For the amount of time being put into this thing and all the setbacks and whatnot, I'm surprised they even expect to make a debut THIS YEAR!

Why don't you bring out the twin turbo Modena to entertain us for the mean time?
