As much as people talk about them on this board, I will swear by them and I don't even have them As soon as I get the money, I will be going Koni Yellows and Ground control, and an ITR rear sway. Shouldn't need much else, maybe some stiffer bushings, and I want a rear upper strut brace, for the look. And the comptech lower tie bar. Ok so I want a lot..

for 500....I would say tokico adjustables with some sport or race springs...you can however pick up new Tokico adjustables with tokico springs that drop 1.5'' for like 350-400 on ebay. Unsure of the spring rates though.

I spent about $530 for my suspension setup:

KYB AGX's- $295
H&R OE springs- $125
ITR Sway w/BSQ kit - $100.

I've had this setup for about 6 months and have no complaints. If you're going to go with more than a 1.5" drop then I wouldn't recommend the AGX's.

Tokico adj. sounds great. It'd be kewl to be able to dial in the suspension.

here's my suspension setup.. its not complete yet tho

Skunk2 coilovers= $50 - gotta love used part deals
KYB AGX's = $300 (haven't purchased yet- can you guys post where the best price is)
ITR sway/BSQ= $120

as you see-- it should be pretty easy to get a similar setup for the $$ you're lookin to spend.

not sure if this counts-- but i just got the yoko avs es100's-- im VERY pleased so far!!

I ran Koni Yellow's and Ground Control's before I got my Ohlins. They were incredible and very much worth the extra cost. I have seen a couple of used setups going for around $600.

A friend of mine introduced me to them. He runs them on a Porsche 951 race car and let me try them out back in the day when I was driving a 951.

don't you ever, ever, ever, ever, ever recommend tokico blues to anybody. you might initially spend less than 5 bills, but you'll end up spending more after they blow.

I used them for 2 years and they are fine. i drive hard, street race, **** around, etc. my car isnt slammed but i have no fender gap, and i tuck. i would recommend agx's since this dude is on a budget. i personally would get teins or jic's, if not, koni yellows. most of my friends ride koni yellows and they love them.

that's funny because i used them for about two months with my h&r sports and the backs blew out. and it was funny because i was warned. but i too was on a budget and i had to end up spending more moneygetting new shocks.
