If you want speed, handling, exclusiveness, ability to mod and weight, then the ITR. You'll lose out on reliability a little (lots of ITR owners complain about tranny problems and various other little things), comfort, luxury and quality as the RSX is better built, quieter and rides better.

Get the RSX type S. I saw an article where they took off the muffler and air filter to see how much power it would gain and the car was easily 180 hp at the wheels!
As parts come out for the Type S it will be even better.

Type R.... ITR Is a race car. RSX S is a "sports" car. The ITR is a more down to the bone race car. Id take a ITR over S anyday. Thats me, and my driving style though.

I would get the RSX. As of now, thieves does not seem to target them. But it really depends on you. ITRs IMO are just too raw.

The WRX is a lot closer to a RACE car than an ITR!!!
WRX still got that swinging suspension, sound deadening materials, etc....
for the Price of an ITR, it is as close as you can get to an "R" car....
just think. a 40 Year old lady can drive a WRX all day long.. but try driving an R..
She'll be out saying: "Damn hard suspension, loud, bla bla bla.."
Get a Lancer EVO 6... it is a better car I think.
