Default Which cold air intake is better for the ITR ?? LS or GSR

Alot of Cold Air Intake makers dont have a particular model for the type r
(the only one i have seen so far is the injen)
I have got mixed opinions on which model to use
Some poeple tell me to use the GSR model
and some say to use the LS model (i dont see why u would do that)

Can anyone give input on this topic???

most of them do have models for the Type R, as the others won't fit, especially the GSR one...

they may not list them in the places that you are looking, but most make ITR specific models...

most owners here use the AEM, Comptech Icebox, or the Injen...

Yup, ditto

You need a Type-R specific intake: AEM, Comptech, Injen, Mugen, and Iceman also make them

The ITR TB is 62mm right? And the GSR is 60mm right? If I remember correctly! So you need the specific sized intake piping to maximize it's potential.

Yeah, be sure to specify ITR when ordering. Otherwise, you'll end up w/ GS-R (VTEC) intake. Also, if I were you, I'd order from well known shops... 'cuz giving out the info that you have an ITR and your address is NOT A GOOD THING! G'luck.

Since the Type R has a unique intake manifold, it needs a unique intake. I would go with either the AEM or the Icebox. I had an AEM, but switched to the Comptech Icebox. Personally, I prefer the Icebox.
