Default Clutch Problems

OK, i dont know exactly whats wrong but i believe its the clutch. My car has 120,000 miles on the orginal clutch so it was gripping almost all the way at the top. I took off, shifting at 3000, normal driving. I was slowing down at a stop sign, then it just wouldnt go back into first. I called a flatbed wrecker and they took it back to my house. I popped the hood and the clutch fliud was low, so i added some fluid. It does go into gear now, but just at idle speed in 1st gear, you can hear the clutch trying to grab and take off. What do you guys think? I priced a new Centerforce clutch off of ebay for $150 shipped. O'reilley wants $279.99 for a new oem.

Sounds like your clutch is probably dead...but I don't know why adding clutch fluid would help...that would indicate a leak in the lines somewhere. You can get a new exedy racing clutch off of ebay for $235 shipped
