Default What prop valve came in the '97 Del Sol Si? Plus a few more questions...

1:What prop valve came in the '97 del sol si?(the non abs one with 4 wheel disk brakes if it was a option) Is it a 4040 or a 3040?

3:Did this model come with the larger front disk brakes? Or the smaller size like those on the older eh civics.

Thanks

I compared the part number to the one for my '92 si and they are different.

I just bought a gsr brake swap. And if the 97delsol si has larger front brakes and the same prop valve (3040) as the one in my si. I Wont worry about changing it. But if its different may have to invest in a new valve.

Thaks that probably what I will end up with.

But I would still like to know what prop valve the delsol comes with because it has the larger front brakes and more similar weight distribution to my car than a gsr does.

Was it abs equipped? Because I think th abs equipped cars just have distribution blocks and no prop valve.

the sol did not have abs, when i pulled it. the commom box by the intake that controls the abs was not present. besides when doing a brake swap i wud worry more about complete ebrake cables and master cylinder

I have a 15/16ths master cylinder and my brake swap came with everything. I have the entior front cross member, steering rack, cables, shocks, rear lca's camber links and the rear swaybar. everything...

Just need a prop valve.

I asked newman what prop valve came on eg6's because he has a few front clips and he said 4030.
EG6's have a similar weight distribution a eh2's and there brake setup is similar to those found on a gsr's.

What usdm honda has a 4030 prop valve?

the proportioning valve is the same as in a dx with small brakes the rear disk is also smaller
and the front brakes are not the same as the delsol vtec or gsr so the proportioning valve front brakes , rear brakes and booster and master cylinder will be needed
