OK. I have a lower tie bar (neuspeed, but have a dc i can put on instead)

I want a rear sway, and it seems Suspension Techniques offers a complete rear kit to fit my car (incl. endlinks and all, since it had no orig. stock rear sway), but it will interfere with the lower tie accoring to the manufacturer, so do i get the beaks spacer kit (the gold things) and ill be ok?

I am not spending 255+ship for the entire kit (bar and all) from beaks...

What is the simplest solution here? I also would like to drill as little as possible and keep things from tearing apart or out...

I got hte S/T rear sway on my ek, if you want I can take pics for you and you can see if they interfear with the lower tie bar...I would think they do since they use the same holes, but I can't recall off the top of my head

if you go with the beaks kit you will not have any problems mounting your DC lower tie bar, they do not use the same mounting points. you also should be ok with the neuspeed bar. also with the beaks kit, you will only need to drill 1 hole on each side, very simple and straigh forward, the directions tell you everything you need. just make sure that your lca's have mounting points for your endlinks. the 22mm itr rear sway bar is one of the best suspension additions that i have added to my hatch and would highly recommend picking one up. wil is the man and gives great customer service

here is a pic of my old dc rear tie bar setup w/beaks kit...

dark pic, but here is my new benen tie bar setup w/beaks kit

Personaly if I were to get a rear sway bar I would get the Beaks kit to save my sub frame from tearing. Just my .02 cents.

I am not paying 270 for his complete swaybar kit.

Am i right in assuming that the beaks kit also spaces out the bar (aside from its protection factor of the subframe) so that it will clear lower ties?

Not too sure on the lower ties question or the compatibility with other sway bars. But I bet you might be able to find out at the website. http://WWW.beaksproducts.com
If you don't find out there you could always contact their customer service department which is excellent in providing information.
