i just got my swap in on sat.(98 Gsr) and while it was apart i put my springs in.....nuespeed race springs(ebay--$45 shipped )

what u guys think? i'm ordering KYB AGX's in about a week.

 

cool man i was thinking about going with a simlar set up soon... were the springs used when you bought them?

 

It's a little too slammed for my taste. What size tires are you using?

 

195-55's...stock tire size...

its alittle to low for me also...but i'm gonna get 50's and KYB's...hopefully that will help things out.

no i don't have a link...i bought em a month ago...the auction started at $25...i bid $60 and no one else bid on em....it was a company that was selling them...auction ended at $25+20 for shipping...i was really happy with the deal...brand new...still in plastic/box.

i think you should have waited for the new shocks/struts before putting your springs in.

 

what for....not like i care about riding on the stock struts...if they blow...they blow...i'm buying AGX's monday anyways...i drive the car once a week.

i had the same springs on my previous car, and boy was it slammed. i used tokico blues and the ride is very harsh for some, but i didnt care that much. for the price you paid i guess you cant go wrong.

thanks guys...i'll be ordering my AGX's on monday...along with AEM cai...then in the shop she goes...in case u didn't notice...my hood is black...not carbon fiber...i hit a deer awhile back...and was leaning towards JDM itr front..but decided to go back to stock with ITR lip and save the cash...so it goes in the shop in a week or 2...shaving the wing,emblems,and color matching sides/painting whole car over again...and i have spoon mirrors also...so i'll post some when its done

I ran neuspeed race on stock type R shocks for like a year and a half.
Sure you run out of shock travel but it worked mint.
Definitely the shocks took the abuse the entire time.
