I wouldnt mind doing a motor swap, but my friend said why bother doing a full swap, just change the heads. Whats more efficent? I was thinking either Type R or GS-R maybe Si not real sure yet. But what would be the best way to go without ending up spending mad amounts of money?
Thanks in advance

You never stated what type of engine you're starting with.

most people swap the heads on 92-95's for the vtec head but if it a stock ex it alread has a vtec head...so either build what you got or swap it,.....money wise i would put an ls motor in...rather inexpensive..we did one in a buddys car for under 1500

Prob swap, but not too cheap.

No head swap will equal the power or torque of a DOHC VTEC swap.
You could completely tear down and rebuild that engine for N/A duty and still fall short of stockish GS-R swap wheel horsepower, and you'll never get that type of torque.
You could also build for boost and make more power and torque than a good old GS-R and even Type R, but it will never be as reliable as a bone stock B series with bolt-ons no matter what anyone says.
Tese topics are covered every other day here, and many will tell you to seach - I'd take their advice.
