Need help after Zex install, tapped wrong wire, now rev at 4,000 rpm
ok got my zex kit installed it but tapped the wrong tps wire
so it sprayed with throttle all the way closed instead of all the way open
so what happened is i was driving down then road with the system armed
and gave it full throttle and nothing happened (system didnt spray the nitrous)
and then a loud band occured (little bit of fire shot out of hood)
pulled over to find that my cold air intake couplings had blown apart
started car again and car idled to 3500 rpm then up to 4000 rpm and check engine light came on
so went home pulled the code out CEL 3 Map sensor
took off battery, rehooked up battery
switched map sensors with another integras and no CEL
but the motor still idles at 4,000
and there is black resign in the throttle body
So are the intake sensors like TPS and the others fryed
or is something else wrong
