Default help with G/F's car

hey all, my girlfriend has a 94 integra automatic, yesterday when she was driving she said it was clicking in the front end, and it sounded like something was flinging up and hitting her fender liner. i took it for a drive and what i noticed was when in [drive] going about 25-50mph and your giving the car gas it goes away when you let off the gas it starts poping on the driver side front by the wheel. it sounds like something is hitting. i looked under the car and her axle boot is ripped in two, im sure this is the problem, but i had an axle go bad on my 00 SI and it only shook when you GAVE it gas not when you let off, and hers isnt really shaking all that bad, but hers is doing it opposite of what mine did. if anyone can help let me know

have a mechanic check out the axel for you. if anything you will definitely have to have the boot changed. Worst case, you might have to get the axel replaced with a rebuilt one.

Yep, sounds like an axle problem. Check to see if the boot is leaking
grease. Even if you have to replace the whole axle, it's not expensive.

Jack the car up and inspect both axles. Check the boots if there are any leaks or cuts on the boot. Check if the grease is leaking most likely it goes into your rims if the outer boot is torn. Once all the grease is gone then the axle will start ticking noticeably loud and that's when it's already shot. I had both my Cv boot on both axles rip and I had to replace both. Mine didn't really shake when driving straight, it only ticks and shakes when I make a turn. ha If they are torn I recommend replacing the whole axle rather than than the boot cuz I heard there is a chance it might rip again. Not that expensive it's about 60-70 bucks at autozone with core exchange with lifetime warranty. Then you can replace the axle yourself. It's not that hard.
