Well, I have bee reading his posts for a while now, and this has to be said. First off. whoever does not have any respect for his car (even though it is taken a blow now) get the hell out of here. Anyone with that crazy ALL MOTOR setup desseves respect. 2nd, most people do not care for him b/c of his attitude, but I love it. Honesty always wins people over, and he tells it like it is. No bs from him, so JG, you might not know me, but me, and probably plenty of others thanks you.

I've known Todd since he became a member here, and I've met him in person - he really is a nice guy. His heart is just directly connected to his mouth, totally bypassing his brain; that's what comes across as attitude. He's learned much about Preludes from the school of hard knocks and hard-earned money, and he doesn't suffer fools or newbies w/ attitudes gladly. Whether he's flamed you or not, he is a long-time, knowledgable member who deserves some respect.

I don't know if I deserve respect or not, but I do pour my heart into everything I do. From my Prelude, to this forum. I don't guess anyone could've described better than Paul just did.

this question is for jg luder - what preludes do you specialize in (know a lot about)? i have a second gen prelude and have gotten very little help with getting this car to get up and go. it is an 85 1.8 dual carb prelude (not the 2.0 si). other than sending it to the junk yard, what would you recommend that i do to get more top end power and more power in general without doing an engine swap or spending tons of money.

 

My first though would be different carbs. Talk to Mikuni or some other company that might make side drafts.
