Question about ecu and stock engine
I was just wondering is it safe for a stock gsr motor to rev over 8k....say if i get a chipped a p.28...and sorri for the newbie question...if i chipped a p.28 will it adjust my vtec engagement? i'm planning to try to rev up to about 9k max
thx for the response...i have another question....why do people tell meh to use a p.28 then a p.72? is it because of the price differance or something?
well..sorri for the lack of info in the beginning....but i have a obd2 p73 i believe...so that's why i'm lookin forward to switch...but always i was wonder if i chipping an ecu will adjust my vtec engagement....i know that chipping the ecu will raise ur rev limiter...but does it adjust anythign else?
yes your v-tec will be shift to whatever the chip is designed to and your fuel and rev limiter. I have problems with my p28 also, running really rich which is not a good thing, but if running stock gsr stick with p72.
