Default Vtec Controller For Type S

I heard you can put a regular vtec controler on a k20 I-vtec. Does it make a diif. if its for i-vtec or vtec because my bro is thinkin of buyin a Fields Vtec controller but he is not sure to buy it because its just forregular vtec and not for I-Vtec. Please if anyone knows if you can use a regular v-tec controller on a I-vtec engine please let me know.

Yep, he's right, it will work. The difference between the two is the "I" in I-VTEC has to do with cam gears. It's electronically controlled. You'll only be effecting when you switching over to the high profile cams not the degree at which they are angled which is what the "I" takes care of.

I-VTEC=VTEC with Intelligence. Smart guy VTEC
