HID JDM ITR conversion help
whats up guys
well i purchased a ITR HID front end conversion and the bodyshop cant get the headlights in because the black box mounted on the headlight is hitting AC lines on the driver side and the ABS on the passanger side
anybody ever run into this???

yeah i did get the jdm radiator support...the only thing thats different about it is the top part but either way i have the jdm radiator support on it
for now i removed the black box behind it just to be able to align the head lights and hood.
any other ideas

There has been a few posts about this and I believe that one integras from certain years had a ABS that was smaller or pushed back further for the hid headlamps. If you car is hitting it i dont think there is any way to put them in unless you take out the ABS or get new headlights with non oem HIDs.

yeah thats what i thought i would have to do.
is there anyway to keep those head lights but make them non-HIDs. maybe i can use the HIDs on my civic(not the headlights just the HID)

"Put the Fenders back on, hood, and throw in those spiffy headlights, if you have HID's like me, you have to bend the a/c lines in order to fit the ballast, no biggie, just be careful. Once the headlights are bolted on, put the bumper support on, throw on the bumper, and look at the purty $$$ you just spent. "
