secondary butterflies removal????

Default secondary butterflies removal????

ok im a newbie yes...but i searched this site from top to bottom no answer on my question so here goes....

i dont have the box that controls the secondary butterfly operation...what i want to know is what are the pros and cons for removing them all together? do i pull the hole 1/2" plenum or just remove the butterfly discs themselves? anyhelp would be great thanks

ok so when the engine is off are the butterflies open or closed?

^ I pondered that question many times myself since my swap, are they open or closed with the engine off?
