SO MANY LIGHTS!!??
i jump started my car yesterday and it ran.... yeh! then it died i was really confused, jumped it, disconnected the cables, jumped in the car, it was idling REALLY rough.... hmmm?
i reved it a little and it ran smoother i gave it some more gas... it back fired a little , needless to say i was scared SH**tless... so i turned it off. Backed away and thought about it, i looked at all the fuses, ecu fuse was out, i replaced it with a functioning one, presto the engine ran smooth as before, but then i noticed my battey light on the cluster was lit up, and the abs one was lit up... hmm , checked every fuse in the whole car... thats not it, then what is it? i really like abs!
thanks guys in advance

How old is the battery and what kind of condition is it in? Did the motor shut off suddenly after you started it? You should check your alternator. After starting the car, undo one of the leads from the battery and see if the car dies. If it does, then your alternator isn't charging the battery anymore. ABS troubleshooting is lengthy. It could be a number of things: from a leaky vacumn line, sensor or electrical problem. Rough idle while running rich is a sign of a faulty MAF sensor.
its not running rich anymore and its running smooth, i replaced the ecu fuse and that fixed things, but the abs light is still there and so is the battery light.... i replaced the alt with a high output one for my stereo about .... 6 months ago.... And i have a 94 ex, the battery is fine i got it tested , the car doesnt die anymore, it was a thing with my stereo that caused it to die like that, i figured it out and its not a prob anymore, but the lights on the instrument panel are still there, im sorry for any confusion
thanks
thanks
Battery light is saying that the car charging system isn't working right, and typically the ABS light will come on if there is insufficient voltage to run the ABS pump. So I say check that your alternator is putting out the correct voltage.

This may seem odd but could it be that since he basically restarted the whole brain of the car that he needs to do that whole thing with the battery...disconnect it for a while and then reconnect it. The alternator sounds like a good idea to.
ya i just replaced the alt about 6 months ago , but it hasnt had any problems until i jump started the car a while ago, but i could try unplugging the car from tha battery , any other ideas?
