Questions like these are asked everyday. Use the search function. It will help you tremendously. If you have a more technicial and detailed question about the swap, search some more. You will probably find it with the search function. When you can't find it, then post.

Since it has already been asked though I will try my best to answer this question. If you were to swap an H22 or H23 from an F22 that means, that you are physically removing the stock engine from the Accord and replacing it with a (usually but not limited to) JDM Prelude engine. Why people do this, is because you are then switching from a 2.2 Liter SOHC VTEC or Non-VTEC to a DOHC VTEC or Non-VTEC, and to gain extra Horsepower and Torque. The price for an H22 and H23 Varies depending on where you buy it from, but H22's run for about $2,000 and H23's run for around $1,000 (I'm not sure about the H23, someone correct me if I'm wrong on the pricing.) Those prices also do not include shipping, which can be a pretty penny.

It's usually 450 for shipping. However, the H22 cost more than 2000 dollars...I spent about 3500 for mine. If your getting the engine installed by someone, they will charge around 1000 dollars, and while the engine is out it would be a good idea to replace the water pump, timing belt, clutch and flywheel. For example, when I got my engine it didn't come with a clutch and the flywheel was corroded.

damn how long ago did you buy motor and what did you buy? i can see spending $3,500 for a 97-01 USDM motor with ~20K on it. an OBDI JDM H22 is going for ~$1900-2200 right now and shipping shouldn't be more than $350.

i paid 2,200 + $350 shipping 2yrs ago and that shipping includes taxes since it came from canada.

Nice! I think I got hosed in many ways. I know that 3500 wasn't a good deal, but 2000 sounds very good. That's including the tranny? BTW I got a M2B4 with my H22, but that's only worth an extra...ehhh, 300 dollars maybe.

you should have paid $3,000 shipped at the most if you got the LSD tranny.
