Default Question on Drag III install...downpipe flange...where?

I'm installing my clutch and Drag kit as we speak. However, looking at the downpipe that is supplied, it doesn't look like it will bolt on directly to the cat. There is no flange of any type. Does it have to be fabricated?

Thanks. Hopefully this will be done very soon.

The best thing to do is probably have a flex pipe installed and a free-flow cat....a good muffler shop should have the flanges in stock to weld on....HTH

yes you will have to have a flange welded. As was mentioned by jbsadler it would be best to also gte a piece of flex pipe installed at this point betwen the DP and the cat. The reason for this is to keep the stress on the manifold down. Giving the flexing force of the motor a safe place to maifest itself, and not crack your exhaust manifold.
