Default Me a retard. Can't find a clutch pilot tool. Orlando people helpzor.

alright, i'm apparently quite retarded.... because it seems that every frigging parts place in the orlando area does not have a clutch pilot tool. I ask for either a univetsal 24 spline 220 mm tool, or the actual piece for the b-series motors. nobody seems to be able to get one. (but they all tell me that they come with the kit, A-holes).

so, if anyone in the orlando area has one of the elusive $4.95 plastic clutch alignent tools, or knows where to get one, please help. trying to drop tranny and install JDM FD, and toda stuff this weekend.

Regards,

D

D,

Finding a B-series clutch alignment tool is about as hard as a three legged cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen pond.

I got one out of a ACT clutch kit. If you are in the Tampa area you can borrow mine.

just use 2 sockets put together with electrical tape. That is what i did. It worked well. I think i used a 17 long mm and a 10 mm short and it worked. I am not exactly sure on teh 17mm though.

You are a retard (you asked !)
I bought a universal tool from Autozone.
Worked like a champ and has so many combinations, it should take care of pretty much any clutch one is likely to change...

Good luck amigo.
