Tuners......
When tuning a vehicle on the dyno what do you adjust first?
1. cam gears
2. fuel
3. ignition timing
I'm just curious. I will be eventually tuning my car with an VAFC and the above items as well. I didn't know if you started randomly and eventually hit on a good curve. I've heard the optimum A/F ratio of 13.4:1 is best across the power band.
Thanks for the input.

cams at 0,0, stock timing, set fuel pressure around 40psi
1. first set VTEC so the graph is smooth with no dips
2. fuel
-increase in 5psi increments until it gets worse, then back off in 2psi increments
3. ignition timing
-increase a degree or two at a time, keep increasing if it makes more power
WATCH FOR DETONATION!!!
4. intake cam
-make sure you adjust distributor accordingly while moving intake cam sprocket
5. exhaust cam
6. fuel again
-use fuel controller to micro manage
7. spark plug gap
-try 35, then 40, then 45
