the engine computer is only for the engine, the tranny computer comtrols the auto tranny...you should be fine.

Present like this it sounds right
but why did they make AT and MT ECU then ?
I mean what' s the difference between the 2 ECU type, I know that there are additional components on AT ECU.

Also, when you put another ECU for exemple let say P28 instead of P13, do you still have the same Error codes ? and does it work fine on your engine even it' s not the original ECU: not throwing CEL ?

I have used both the auto and manual P13 on my h22, when it was both auto and manual! They both work.

I don't really understand your second question.

Don' t get angry
I didn' t say it doesn' t work,
I' ve read in another topic it should be be fine.
but I just wanted to know what' s the difference between the 2 ECUs as they are additional components inside AT ECU, and I read a lot of topics but never read one that says what' s the difference between them.

For the 2nd quest°, I wanted to know if I put another ECU that was not in my car but is compatible, will my car behave the same and not throw me a CEL,
and for the CEL, if I got one later, will the Error codes be the same.
I know it' s not related really to the main topic but it' s something I still don' t get as I' ve never plug another ECU on my car.
