Header Topic #2389023829 for EM1 say stock power b16a...
I am creating this thread to bring up a discussion which will contain prices, availability, expected gains low, mid, high, clearance, a/c and no a/c, etc.
For I am in the market for such and want to make sure that its money well spent!
Now mind you I would like to keep this thread very reasonable because a lot of you are smsp and an-r heads and refuse to use anything else. Although you dont even own either mentioned. So your opinion doesnt really matter much on the two so save your +1 posts of get smsp nuff said and random crap like that.
Q: Now you may ask why the hell do we have to see another header topic?
A: Because the topic on clubsi is filled with questions also concerning exhaust, and intakes it kind of add's a random answer to a question pertaining to a header.
the thread is 4 pages in length, mostly questions about exhaust and intakes.

if completely wild, big gains is what you're looking for, look into the Erik's Racing headers for equal length priaries.
Maybe you should add headertech, hytech, AN-R and SMSP to the header section... there is a lot more quality out there then what you have listed. Ive been reading a lot of the headertech recently on H-T and it seems like a very good piece for the money.
Also another thing to be a little concerned with is the ground clearance issues you will have with certain headers. This is another reason i might be looking into the AN-R becasue of its design...
the AN-R is very similar to the Erik's Racing header. it has equal length (20in. i believe) primaries and it's totally handmade. it's available in 2 versions; standard and compact. the standard sticks out very far, almost to the radiator brace so A/C or a full length radiator are out of the question. the compact yields the same power gains as the standard but doesn't stick out so far and looks 10x cooler! they both come with either a 2.5 street or race collector in mild steel, ceramic coated and stainless construction. i'll throw some pics up of mine when i get home if anyone is interested.
You will need 10mm, 12mm, 14mm sockets, and 19mm open wrench (for O2 sensor). Allow 3 hours for first-timers."</TD></TR></TABLE>[/b]
There are plenty of variable's that I will be adding to this thread and I will also be adding any archived thread links that I may find concerning any of the headers listed. If anyone has any access to dyno charts for anything mentioned with the use of a STOCK or near stock b16a2 I would greatly appreciate the linking of such to this post.
There is a hp chart running around on the net from one of the old tuner mags but its from a gsr which is a lot different than a b16a2 engine. Which lists a header compasion and well its pretty much useless in this thread.
So lets get to it, questions, answers, dyno charts, price listing as you can find it on the net.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. How long does it take to fabricate a header?
A. It takes approximately 3 weeks after payment is
received to complete each header by hand.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
The compact or the standard version looks like they would'nt have a problem at all with ground clearance which is great.
However a dyno chart would help as well.
I am still searching the website.
