hey everyone I searched for this and didn't find an answer. I am trying to remove the center console from a 92 lx. I took out all the screws and I see it like folds in the center, but it seams to be stuck on the E-brake. I just don't want to like break it or something. any info would be great.. thanks

 

3 screws are under the seam between the gearshift and e-brake assembly....lift up and see if you can fit a screwdriver underneath there.....

 

so do i have to take the e-break out?

pull the ebrake up as far as you can, then work the console off. shouldn't be too hard. I've done it three times now on my 4th gen. also if I remember rihgt there are one or two screws on the bottom side of the console (you shouldn't have to worry about those).

 

The first time I installed a CD player in 4th Gen Accord, I took out soooooo many parts that I didn't need to.

When I tried to pull the cover off the e-brake, I got so pissed at it, I yanked really hard and ripped those 3 screws right out! Lesson learned for me.
