Default INT 254 / 503 EXT 250 / 503.... good on stock block ls?

head milled 6 thou
1 layer HG

so compessio should lay around 9.8:1

i can get cams in this grind: INT 254 / 503 EXT 250 / 503 for $350 shipped w.JG cam gears. Pretty much i am weighing the differences with these and the 404's.

opinions.

you would deffinitely have to clay that before you really turn it over...you might as well upgrade to ctr pistons while your in there. and seriously though save a lil bit more money. plus 1 layer headgasket is not safe at all. ask any reputable shop.

i have enough money to build 200+whp engine no problem. thats not the issue. i plan rebuilding my spare ls block with ctr's later. I'm trying to get my head done first.

again: opinions on these cams. i am working on my ITB's as we rigth now in the garage. they should be on this weekend.

and the person selling them to me says i need to get the valves machined to run these. like i need shorter valve stems or some bullshit. im not an all-motor guy. i usually just throw a turbo on and go.

coudl i use ITR valvesprgin with these cams in my ls head?
