Hey, can I bring my not R? If it was next weekend (assuming the weather was okay) I'd like to come up and check out some of your guys cars. If it's an all R thing I guess I'll understand (runs away crying)

 

I'll be coming from the Washington DC area (Alexandria, VA), but I'm originally from Youngstown.

You know, it just occurred to me that my car will be getting it's wing/hatch fixed monday after Sumit.
So I'll be driving my 323 GTX, .... is that going to be OK?

If you want to come without R's that is fine. Doesn't really matter if we get a bunch of R's anyway . zygspeed it would've been nice to have your 97 original R there though!

UPDATE: SHAMUN just reminded me that a bunch of peoeple would be going out to Nelson's Ledges on Saturday which would work out perfectly! If you want we can make the meet in Youngstown or Akron (which is the mid point), and it's only about 30-45 mins from there...let me know...

It's going to have the best weather, and I don't want to take a chance with many other weekends before winter hits. We'll start off in Youngstown since that's where Nelson's Ledges track is. From there we will try to make it out to Akron, and collect all the other drivers. There are some cool things to do on a Saturday night out that way, like Brubakers, Jillians, Fat Tuesday's, etc.

Akron/Cleveland guys speak up (a couple of you already did). In order for me to convince the "burghs" to come out, we should have a good attendence (I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio City so I'm with ya ). I will send an e-mail from a list of folks on http://www.itrca.com.

Its no biggie man I used to the drive every 2nd day...if you're slow and normal its 3 hrs, but i used to avg 2.5 to downtown akron...

Electra or Fat Tues are great, i know the bartenders at both so we get cheap!!

This weekend should be nice, but I'll be at Summit Point for my last track days of the year (gotta finish off some tires and brakes), so I can mount up some fresh stuff for next year's Expo.

I'm sure one of the crowd at the track will (and we'll have "Official" T-shirts).

 

Track day is 100 per person, i think the track opens at 9 and driving starts at 10, goes until 5ish. You're gonna be pretty beat after a day at the track, just so ya know...i'll probably be down to hang afterwards, we'll see. Someone remind me to bring my fuggin camera this time
