Default does CF hood bump you up into a diff. race class

Like the title says, does a CF hood bump you up into a higher race class for autox, I heard it does, just want confirmation

According to my classification 'cheat sheet' replacement hoods, other than original, are not allowed in stock, STS, STX or SP. They are legal for SM, but for more info you'd have to check the rule book, which I don't have. Hope this helps.
