what race class with a CF hood
Just wondering, I heard a CF hood bumps you up into a different race class for autox, and Im not sure if I want to be running against faster cars with more skilled racers.
My setup would be B18c1, actually its a SiR-G, but lets just pretend its a B18c1 for now, intake, header, exhaust, H&R sports and I still have to find the right struts, and hopefully by that time Ill have a set of rota slips or circuit 8s.
So would the hood bump me up?

You are running in STS now because of the springs. The hood may bump you to STX but it won't matter at that point because you are going to get spanked either way. If not in STX than DSP and you will still get spanked.
Don't worry how you place in relation to other cars, worry how you place in relation to the time you ran at the last run. The only thing out there you should be competing against is the clock. If you worry about everyone else and how you do compared to them you are going to be immensely disappointed when you get raped by miata's, stock GSR's, and 91 Civic hatchbacks.
Don't sweat it, just drive and work on your skills.
