Selling my hatch/Thinking about an RSX....
Hey guys well I am trying to sell my hatch....https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=837344
Offer is pretty steep, but its worth it!(may be negotiable)
Anyways, I was just inquiring on the RSX Type S and everyone's overall experiences with it? I am not asking for detailed info or "use the search button", I am more asking along the lines of personal opinion. Remeber I am comming from a jdm B18c hatch and am not up to par with the k-series.....sorry

Go for it, RSX-S are deceptively fast...
They respond very well to mods...and have a good history.
I mean, I/H/E and an ECU upgrade to get 200 whp....Sweet

Just curious........I want the 04 rsx-s with front, side, and rear spoilers. I know that the base is at 23,000, but I am looking to walk out the door only paying somewhere in teh 20,000 price range....think it can be done?
With a lot down yes, or a good trade-in...
List on the RSX-S is like 23,900 or so....Those front, rear, and side skirts and rear spoiler will add @2,000 or so, installed of course.
25,900....Possibly. before your down payment or trade-in.
Anything is possible

damn....yea I will give the full down payment with the money I get for my car which would be around 8,000 or so. I was also thinking just to get the peices from them and put them on myself, would this be smart?
Your best bet would be to set aside $1000 and buy the parts outright from HandAAccessories.com or some other online dealer parts vendor. They come painted and are usually about $100 cheaper per piece than buying from a dealership
really? damn alright....as for the fitting, its just cut and dry right? b/c those damn dealers are seriously going to charge 1,000 for install....hahaha Ill tell tehm to go F*** themselves

Yeah, if you can turn a wrench, you can install OEM underbody spoilers. You may need to buy some nuts and bolts or even :::shudder::: buy the install nut plates and bolts from the dealer if they're not included from the online place. The advantage to the dealer bolts is that they are designed to fill the holes in the install tabs on the U.B. spoilers so that it isn't off center, but they're pretty expensive compared to just buying some nuts, bolts, and washers from home depot. When I installed the SI lip on my old civic, i just bought a couple bolts and nut plates from the dealership to keep everything aligned and then used regular nuts and bolts for the rest of it. Kind of a compromise to keep costs down, but quality up. Good luck

A motor is only as good as its chassis, and the double-wishbone that comes with the B is hard to beat in something other than a straight line...
