Cleaning R seats?
Tried a search but couldn't find anything but I know I saw a thread about this before.
My friend just bought a set of ITR seats and he wants to clean them before putting them in the car. What's the best/safe method to clean the Alcantra?
Thanks.

this has been covered many times and is probably in the frequently asked questions, but here's the alcantra site.

I find that VERY difficult to believe.
I just did a search on all archived topics in the ITR forum with the word "seats" in the title. It returned 33 topics, and two of the titles were about cleaning the ITR seats...

yes. diluted woolite (6:1 water:woolite ratio) will work very well. work solution into fabric till a light lather. then wipe off with damp cloth several times to remove woolite.

use the woolite solution as well.
probably first wipe it down with a damp cloth to get the less embedded dirt and grime off. then use the woolite solution. then wipe off with damp microfiber towels.

I dont know how dirty you guys get your seats but im **** with my car. No drinks, food, etc in my car. Lint from clothes seems to be the only thing that "dirty" my seats. I simply vacuum away, then they are brand new again.
