Default LSD Problems

Has anyone had problems with the LSD's in the 6spd JDM box's
I launched my K20A powered EG hatch at 8000rpm and had it launch sideways with only one wheel spinning, I still managed 1.82 60ft times but has this happened to anyone else???

At the moment I am looking at replacing it with a 16 plate ATS diff
Is there anything better to use???

No complaining for you. 1.82 60ft is better than some of the EVO's I've seen at the track. I don't care if it turns your car on its roof: you are officially prohibited from complaining .

But seriously, look into Quaife or Kaaz.

I was running slicks on an un-prepped track, but by loose of the line I mean it was moving about 1.5metres sideways in the first 20ft. So it was quite loose. I'm hoping to run sub 1.6 60ft times when I get it all sorted though... Should be fun..

do you think by any chance that you might've damage the lsd by launching at that rpm? I heard another guy cracked his rsx with jdm LSD so it could happen.
